Two month appointment and catching up to now (11 weeks)

The day after we got back from our trip, Ada went for her 2 month well child visit. It was March 26th, so a little late. Dr. Seru was on vacation so we saw Dr. Grim. We talked to her about Ada's fussy times, and her crying at the breast, but she didn't have a lot of ideas. She's not fussy all the time so she's not likely sick (bladder or ear infections are common). Anyway she's healthy and got her first round of vaccinations. She was hungry during them so they weren't too fun. She is all over the place for her measurements. She's growing normally from her birth weight though so Dr. Grim wasn't worried about her being 10%.

Length: 23 1/4 inches (80%)
Weight: 8 lbs 14.5 oz (10%)
Head circumference: 38.5 cm (50%) - why they do this one in cm and the other in inches...

Ada's doing really well though. She got a lot more focused over our 2 weeks of travel, and is usually happy in the mornings. She has just started getting interested in looking at rattles, toys, and books. She's pretty fascinated with the world, likes to move around and look at new things.

And what's a post without pictures, so here's Ada with Brynn and Michelle, super cute. We were at the UW cherry tree quad on Easter. it was amazing how many people were there, but it was pretty.
 and a smile.
And a Daddy perch (baby's first slide!). She seems to like to be sitting up or standing, so this was fun.

  1. Yay! I'm so glad you got the blog going. And I'm so glad that we got to see little Ada in person, even if she wasn't at her best. :) We love you guys!
