Texas Spring Break

We went to Sunrise Beach, TX for the first week in April with the Johns family. It was great. By the end of the week Ada had adjusted to being around everyone. Too bad it didn't happen sooner. We'll see Mormor and Morfar pretty soon so maybe she'll adjust more quickly. 

Tim's crew minus Timmy's friend Ryan eating dinner. 8 flew from Chicago. Unfortunately we didn't get any pics with Uncle Tim and Aunt Monica. Ada actually was better with Tim than others.

The hottub makes a good drum. We mostly got really nice weather but the last day was pretty chilly.

Feeding the ducks. Ada may have jumped in the lake when she saw ducks if nobody was there to stop her. Such a love for any kind of animal.

 Although, when we gave her a piece of bread to feed the ducks she ate it and asked for more...

The hot tub was quite popular with everyone. Turned down to ~100 the girls loved it in there.

After being in the pool we rinsed the girls off in the stuga shower. They loved the shower! Which is kind of funny since neither like getting their hair rinsed in the bath. quantity of water I guess. 

Alien Ada!!

We took Ada into the sauna to warm up (if was off but had been on earlier so was ~90 degrees) after the shower and the lighting was great, I love this picture.  

Ty came across Longhorn Caverns on Google maps and we decided to go; baby's first cave! It was almost her nap time so the first ~15 minutes of the tour were pretty horrible with Ada fussing, and there was so much echoing it seemed like she was disturbing the whole tour... we let her walk a little.

Eventually she fell asleep.

When she woke up she was kind of confused about where she was and leaned her head back to look at the rocks for a while.

Ada actually ate well that week. Pretty sure she ate a few cups of blueberries in this particular session, and other morning she at ~2.5 poached eggs in one sitting.

Kira joined us for our reading in bed session.

On the last day, Ada finally realized that Mormor is pretty nice, and decided to read some books.

It was a pretty intense story.

 Also on the last day, Ada went over to Megan and hugged her without encouragement. Ty was able to get a picture. so cute.

We also had a photographer take family pictures so we'll see how those look. I'm sure Ada didn't smile the whole time, so her looking up will be a success.
