Ada went to her 18 month check-up today.
weight: 19 lbs 12.5 oz (14%)
height: 31 inches (26%)
head: 18.25 inches (54%)
She had to get a blood draw to check iron, and to check her thyroid function. Her soft spot still isn't closed. we told the last pediatrician and she wasn't concerned but apparently it can indicate thyroid issues. Blood draw was terrible, way worse than shots (those are fast at least). They used a regular butterfly needle and tried to fill several tubes so had to use both arms. ugh. After we got outside she recovered though with some juice and crackers, and would just periodically point to her band-aids and say owie.
Dr. Dolby asked how many words she knows so we'll have to think about that... sorry this is an annoying post but we want a record.
