Labor day visit

Been a long time between posts, have a lot to catch up on. that won't happen tonight but for now, here's one great weekend! Over Labor Day, Deirdre, Mark and Kira came to San Diego.

Deirdre and Kira slept in the same room, which kind of worked. Ada didn't want to go down at night, and naps were kind of impossible. Anyway, once one of them woke up in the morning they were both up. On Sunday morning, I got up to go swimming, and Ty took both girls into our room for a little while and Deirdre and Mark got to sleep. I'm not sure what they were looking at...

On Saturday we went to the zoo. Was lots of fun. Ada is riding on Daddy's shoulders watching a panda chop some leaves.

We rented a double stroller, which was expensive but worth it. they look like they're ready to nap...

Managed to get Ada inside to extend the nap after the zoo.

Reading books on Mama's foam roller

Bedtime stories. Kira left this pair of pjs when she left. Ada now loves them and calls them Kira's pjs.

Still trying to grow into the Sounders cap from Uncle Tim.

Ada's getting really good at stacking Legos!

On Sunday we went to a little splash park/fountain downtown. It was fun, though Ada got cold fast as usual so was ready to go pretty quickly.

During the weekend, our garbage disposal leaked pretty badly. Mark and Ty were great and replaced it. It was bad timing since it took them several hours over the weekend, but it was good timing since Ty had Mark's help. Anyway, not sure what's going on in this picture, but I think Ty must be explaining how he's going to pull out the old disposal.

Kira and Mark thoroughly enjoyed the water.

The littlest one who gets cold in 90 degree temps sat with Mom and Dad and watched planes take off and land at the airport

 Super fun in the air!
(not as scary as it looks, see Ty's hands holding Ada)

Thanks for visiting, Ada's looking forward to seeing Kira again soon! online if nothing else...
