We had planned on starting Ada at daycare after Deirdre and Mark's visit so Ty would have a little more time to job search, but it worked out to be Ty's first day too. She is staying with Gladys, this really great woman from Peru. She and her husband run a home daycare. Maybe Ada will learn a little Spanish, but for now we're happy she has a single caregiver to adjust to. The first drop-off for Ty was really rough, and the first day for Ada was hard, but after 3 days she is doing well. Hopefully week 2 will be even better.
There is a one year old, and a few older toddlers, who are teaching her to jump around during nap time.
And Ada with Gladys. She wouldn't take a bottle with Mormor and Morfar so I was worried, and she still doesn't take one in the morning for Gladys, but I guess by the afternoon she is willing to give in.
