Christmas

We went to Portland and Seattle over Christmas and New Years. Lots of fun, not enough pictures (none in Seattle...) We'll get a few posted though soon!

ok, photo update a month late. Lots of pictures of Ada. We need to do better getting her with the rest of the family though.

Ada really liked Mark's hat, even though she would run into things when she wore it.

Not sure if Ada is trying to sweep or poke Kira with the broom. Kira on the other hand is excellent at sweeping!

The girls had matching dresses on Christmas morning. We tried for a while to get a nice picture. All of mine looked like this... You can take my word for it though, they were adorable!

Opening presents. Kira doing a new puzzle and Ty reading Ada Trains Go for the first of several hundred times. Whoo whhhooooooo!!!

Kira was thrilled with her new rain gear! She may have worn it for the rest of the day.

 Kira and Ada had fun playing together. Kira made Ada bounce quite a bit here, but Ada didn't seem to mind.   

Bath time was splashy, Rachel got pretty wet, but might have been the most fun

 Eating next to each other. There may have been some food/cup grabbing but they did pretty well

Reading books

Ada's attention span is a little shorter than Kira's...

The zoo had a lights exhibit with lots of animals and animation, it was great. Pretty chilly night though for those of us not equipped for a polar vortex. Ada and I were the warmest though. 

 Here there were purple hanging lights. Cool but a little rough on the eyes.

Must have been something cool to look at but don't remember what.
