Ada likes to carry her little bag. Today she carried it from Gladys's to the car, and then from the car all the way home.
She wouldn't let me help her carry it up the steps. On the last set of stairs she said yes when I asked if she wanted help, but she would only let me hold her hand to help walk up the steps, not take the bag.

And sitting down to take off her shoes right away.
Fortunately she still needed Mama to cook dinner!
