Mormor and Morfar made it for their first visit to San Diego. It was great. We made it to the zoo, beach, park, and pool. Plus, Ada got to stay home with them for 4 days and did great with them (or so they say!). Unfortunately it was in the upper 90s while they were here which isn't the most comfortable with no A/C, sleeping in the loft. And then there were the fires. One was fairly close (we could see it from the main road by our condo). That was pretty scary. I think there were 9 fires in San Diego County last week, mostly north of us.
Anyway back to the fun...
This was the first night, we took the grill out to the beach. It was lots of fun and Mormor and Morfar were great putting up with our plan despite just arriving after a 6am flight out of Milwaukee
On Mothers day we went to the zoo. I was worried it would be crowded but it was nice. Ada did well with Morfar.

Mormor's birthday was Saturday when they flew back home. We celebrated on Friday evening. Ada was tired but loved singing Happy Birthday over and over!
