Life in May

Spring was pretty busy for us this year. In addition to the normal working and having 2 little kids, we were house hunting to make sure we had no free time on the weekends. But we managed to get some play time in with our fun kids in beautiful San Diego where staying inside isn't recommended.

Playing in the tunnel at a park

Who needs a park when there is Daddy jungle gym!!
Yes, Seth is in a bathrobe. It's size 12-18 month but huge, Ada can still wear it. Don't really remember why he's wearing it...

Jungle gym collapse
We all flew to Chicago for a random super last minute trip. I'm not usually that spontaneous but I saw really cheap flights and wanted to see everyone so off we went!!! Unfortunately Ty the photographer this time had a phone crash so we lost pics... but it was a great time. Thanks to Tim and Monica for always open doors, even to loud little ones, and to Mom and Dad for airport trips and rearranging their schedules.
Uncle Tim and some puzzling. This must have been after Tim won Seth over with a game of catch.

Look I found a piece that fits!

Some neighbors had a bonfire so we all went. Ada LOVES her auntie Monica. When she wasn't snuggling with Monica she was running in the field with some other kids. Fun.

Chatting around the fire and entertaining the babe

Floor puzzles are great!

Stories at bedtime. I think Mormor and Morfar were happy to see the grandbabies

This was hilarious and really cute. Seth is just getting into books at this age, and decided he loves Llama Llama Zippity Zoom. And wanted it read over and over and over and over. Morfar never said no.

Ada helping at the airport when we sadly had to go back home.

More San Diego park pics. Goofy expression.

And serious pose

Thinking about going down the slide... not quite yet by myself though.

This one on the other hand will go up and down and down and up slides

Very interested to copy big sister and put shoes on by himself.

Getting the crazies out before bed.

Bad pic but cool display at the SD downtown Children's museum. We were there for a birthday party and need to go back soon to see more.

Racetrack at the museum

Ada is still taking gymnastics at UCSD and doing great. usually she's too far away to get a good pic.

Playing piano together is the best. These 2 are usually so good together; we are lucky parents.

Hey you!

One of my favorites

At Hilltop Park in PQ (probably between house tours). It was raining a little that day

La Jolla Shores for Ari's 5th birthday. I really just like the depth in this picture.

Parents and brother of the birthday boy energizing with coffee.

Beaches are still easy parenting, kids seem to get along and play together better when there is sand.

Seth liked the (cold) water

Next set is just a cute series of pics with the baby gate on our deck:
