Got behind again...

Been a busy few months! See if I can get caught up. Ty ended up on a jury for a ~4 week murder trial. Interesting experience, but really tough on him as his group at work is down a person at the same time due to a visa issue. So he was working nights and weekends to stay on top of everything. Plus I have some reason to be a little more tired with Little Brother coming in February. Ada and I missed him (even though he made it home to tuck her in almost every night) and it made me appreciate how much stuff he does around the house!

Here are some random pics around San Diego...

Ty's friend came and we met him for breakfast. We offered for him to move from Boston to nanny for us. Unfortunately he is otherwise employed.

Ada's first concert: I took Ada to a family fair (products and services, plus crafts and music and play areas). She had fun. Here she is dancing to Hullabaloo. They were pretty fun.

She found my swim cap and managed to get it on her head. Impressive I thought.

Hot pink compression leggings for night cramps. If Ada sees me wearing them she points and says "Ada's socks" so I let her borrow them one day.

Post pool trip crazy hair contest. Actually getting a little longer!

Learning to dress herself. Thought she was frustrated but then she looked up proud of herself!

This was a night I was trying to put her to bed without Ty. She found a pair of his shoes, said "Ada wear Daddy's shoes, go get Daddy?"

Finally got her to leave sunglasses on for more than 2 seconds. Unfortunately it was dark outside. She has taken to going to get the mail when we get home. Preferably with Mommy, Daddy, and LD (little doggy).

Not a bad view for pushing a swing! (Del Mar)

Snuggly baby.

Finally got her a stool so she can stand at the sink. She was a great help assembling it!

Reading one of her favorites. She can recite part of this one (Hand Hand Fingers Thumb) if you tell her to read it by herself.

I let her play with her Russian dolls for the first time. She liked them!

Lately she has enjoyed swinging in the big swings on one of our laps rather than in the baby swings. It's cozy so we like it too.

There is an infant downstairs. Ada is extremely sympathetic when she hears her cry.
