Today was my last day at home with Seth and Ada. Avidity has been great to me. The state of CA gives 6 weeks disability, 6 weeks bonding time, and 6 weeks unpaid, but the last 6 only qualify if you work at a company of >50 people. I do not, but they gave it to me anyway. I chose to take it 10 hours/week for 24 weeks. Anyway, sad to be done with this time, but they're doing well with Gladys and it will be easier in many ways for me to be at work full time. It was a great day though, Seth has finally started making non-crying or screaming or banging sounds and instead all day was saying "mamamama" and "bababa." Also, we took our usual walk to the park. It's getting fun now that Seth is moving around on his own! He loves the tunnel right behind him in the picture below.

Playing in the sand. For easy entertainment, put a bucket and shovel in the stroller and take Ada to the park half a mile away... San Diego definitely has some year round perks with little kids!
