October - is it fall yet?

San Diego is funny for its lack of seasons. October was pretty hot, and the ocean temp hasn't dropped yet. Rachel bought her first wetsuit (last year's model for $59, hurray and thanks to Art for the link!), though she isn't planning on wearing it for a while as the water is still over 70 degrees (it did finally drop below 70 in November). As we mentioned it was really hot when Mark and Deirdre were in town, and for most of the month was hitting 80. Apparently this isn't normal. We're looking forward to the well hyped upcoming el nino season.

Starting to enjoy the swing, and, top teeth!

Seth is pretty interested in electric toothbrushes
Most of these don't need captions. We went to the park at twilight a few times so I got some great pictures with nice light.

Don't let go Daddy!!

Attempting sweet potato fries. He takes a bit, not much. But they are super fun to squeeze between fingers and rub on the wall!

Adorable poser
We went to the Mira Mesa farmers market, and there were pumpkins and a few little rides in October. When she gets bigger, Ada wants to ride on the one that goes around with Seth, she told us lots of times.

Ada got to be a cow at this pumpkin patch

Probably laughing at something his sister is doing

Testing the waters with some banana

Eating my last serving of birthday cake straight out of the pan.

at UCSD walking to the pool for swimming lessons. They weren't too fun, the pool is too cold for Ada so she wants to go take a hot shower immediately. We might have to find a 90 degree teaching pool for this girl

Smashing avocado with a ball

I want 7 rubber bands in my hair!!

Cool thing in this photo is that the fan is on

Watching the pumpkin change colors

Comfy and cozy nap
